instructions
1. Locate the manual for your computer, or the documentation you received when you purchased it.
2.Inside the documentation, look for information about the type of RAM (Random Access Memory) your computer requires. This will tell you the type, speed, and size you should use.
3. If you don’t have the manual or documentation, you can look up the make and model of your computer online. This should provide information about the RAM specs your computer uses.
4.Visit a computer or electronics store to purchase the correct type of RAM. Be sure to purchase exactly what your computer requires: Any RAM that doesn’t match the specs can damage your computer.
5.Unplug the computer from the wall or power source before installing the RAM.
6. Open the computer case and locate the memory slots. Carefully remove any existing RAM module (if necessary) by pushing down on the side clips until the modules pops out.
7.Insert the new RAM module into the memory slot. Push it firmly but gently until it clicks into place.
8.Replace the computer case and plug the power cord back in.
9.Turn on the computer and let it boot up. Check your system properties to verify that the new RAM has been detected.
10.Enjoy your upgraded computer!
