What should I do if my scanner is reading only part of the document?

1. Make sure the document is completely laid out flat on the scanning surface.

2. Check that the scanner glass is clear of any dust or smudges.
3. Adjust the document settings on the scanner to ensure that it is set to scan the entire document.
4. Make sure that the scanning resolution is set to a high enough setting to capture all details of the document.
5. If you are using an automatic feeder, check that the paper is loaded correctly and that it is not stuck in the machine or feeder tray.
6. If possible, try scanning the document in sections and then merging the scans together in an image editing program.
7. If scanning more than one page, check that the scan settings are set to scan multiple pages at once.
8. If the document is larger than the scanner’s glass bed size, try scanning in sections and stitching the images together in a photo editor.
9. Increase the brightness and contrast settings on the scanner for a more accurate image.
10. Try scanning the document in black and white, as this may lead to better results.
