The Control Panel from Microsoft Windows is the main control center for your computer. It contains many different options for adding and configuring hardware devices on your device. Let’s look at some of the available options in the Control Panel.
1. Add Hardware Wizard: This wizard helps you identify and install hardware devices on your computer. After selecting the Add Hardware option, you will be taken through a series of steps that help you search for, install, and configure the new hardware. The Add Hardware Wizard also connects to the Internet to check for any updated drivers that might be needed.
2. Device Manager: This option allows you to view all of the installed hardware devices on your system. You can view details about each device, as well as enable or disable them, uninstall them, or update their drivers.
3. System: This area allows you to view information about your hardware and software, such as the processor type, RAM size, operating system version, and more. It also provides you with the option to install additional language packs or Windows updates.
4. Printers: This option helps you to manage any printers or other imaging devices that you have connected to your system. It also allows you to add new printers, as well as view and change printer settings.
5. Network Connections: This section lets you connect to and manage any network connections you have, such as wired Ethernet or wireless networks. It also allows you to set up a new network connection, view network information, and troubleshoot connection problems.
6. Scanners and Cameras: This option lets you view any scanners or cameras that are connected to your device, as well as install new ones. It also allows you to access the settings for each device.
7. Other Devices: This section lists any detected hardware devices that Windows does not recognize, such as external hard drives or USB devices. You can investigate these devices and update or install their drivers.
