The quickest way to access Control Panel on a Windows computer is to use the Windows search bar. This method can be used on Windows 7, 8, and 10.
1. To open the Windows search bar, press the Windows logo key + Q on your keyboard.
2. In the search bar, type “Control Panel” and then select the first option in the list that appears.
3. The desktop version of the Control Panel will open. From here you can make changes to your computer’s settings, add or remove software, manage user accounts, manage network connections, and more.
4. Alternatively, if you are using a laptop or tablet, you can also access the all-in-one device settings by going to the Start screen or the Charms menu, depending on the version of Windows you are using.
5. On the Start screen or Charms menu, click the Settings icon (which looks like a gear) and select Control Panel from the list of options. Note that this method will not open the full desktop version of the Control Panel.
Whether you use the search bar method or the all-in-one device settings method, you can access the Control Panel quickly and easily.
