It also offers options to adjust certain system settings, such as the visual effects, processor scheduling, and system protection. Users can also access the advanced system settings where they can view, configure, or disable items like DEP (Data Execution Prevention), virtual memory, system restore, remote access, and so on.
2. Device Manager: This is where users can view, manage, and update all their system devices, such as printers, scanners, keyboards, sound cards, etc. Users can add and remove devices from the list, search for new drivers, and configure existing ones.
3. Power Options: This section lets users define how the computer should manage power when it is idle, in sleep mode, or plugged in. Here, users can also configure their advanced power settings, such as enabling hibernation and setting the latency for sleep mode.
4. Backup and Restore: This allows users to backup and restore their important data and system settings. Users can configure regular backups, set up disk images, and manage system restore points to protect their data in case of any hardware or software issues.
5. Security and Maintenance: This is where users can adjust their firewall settings, access User Account Control (UAC), configure Windows Updates, and manage Windows Defender settings. In addition, users can check their system performance, schedule maintenance tasks, and review system reports.
6. Recovery: This section lets users access recovery options in case Windows needs to be restored, cleaned, or reset. Here, users can recover their files and settings using a system image, refresh their PC without losing their installed programs, and perform a full reset to restore their computer to its original state.
