1. Uninstall bloatware from your computer. This can be done by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features. From here, you can remove any programs you don’t need.
2. Use a third-party bloatware removal tool. PC Decrapifier and shouldIRemoveIt are two popular options that provide easy-to-use interfaces for removing unwanted programs.
3. Disable startup entries. Sometimes programs are set to start automatically when your computer boots up. You can stop this from happening in Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc). Look for the Startup tab, then select entries and click Disable.
4. Take a look at your browser extensions. Some bloatware is bundled as extensions with web browsers. To manage them, open the browser, go to Tools or Settings, select Extensions, and deactivate any you don’t need.
5. Avoid installing pre-loaded software. When setting up a new computer, watch out for any pre-installed programs being added. These don’t always have to be installed, so make sure to opt out of them if you don’t need them.
