1. Open the Start menu and select the Settings icon.
2. Select the System option.
3. Select the Notifications & Actions tab.
4. Scroll down and turn off the Get notifications from apps and other senders toggle switch.
5. If you want to turn off notifications for only specific apps, scroll down further and click on the app name.
6. Toggle off Show Notifications and/or Show in Action Center.
7. Click on the back arrow at the top left corner of the window to go back to the Notifications & Actions window.
8. Repeat steps 5-6 for each app you want to turn off notifications for.
