1. Press Windows + R to open the Run window. Type “msconfig” and press Enter.
2. Go to the Startup tab. Here, you’ll see a list of all the programs that launch when your computer starts up.
3. Carefully go through the list and uncheck any items you don’t want to launch at startup. It’s best to leave essential items that you recognize; any unfamiliar or unnecessary items should be unchecked.
4. Once you’ve made your selections, click the “Apply” button and then the “OK” button to save your changes.
5. Finally, restart your computer for your changes to take effect.
