There are several ways to find out what type of graphics card you have installed on your computer.
1. Check Your System Information
The first method for finding out what type of graphics card you have is to check your system information. This can be done by following these steps:
• Open the Control Panel.
• Click System and Security.
• Select System.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand the Display Adapters section.
• Right-click on your graphics card and select Properties.
• Look at the adapter type listed in the Adapter tab.
2. Check Your Manufacturer’s Website
The second way to find out what type of graphics card you have is to check your manufacturer’s website. You can do this by visiting the website and searching for a “graphics cards” section. Once you’re in the correct section, look for the model number of your graphics card and then click on it for more details. This should tell you exactly what type of graphics card you have.
3. Use System Utilities
Another way to find out what type of graphics card you have is to use system utilities, such as Speccy or Belarc Advisor. These are free programs which can scan your system and give detailed information about all of your hardware components. After the program has finished scanning your system, look for the “graphics card” section and it should tell you the model number, manufacturer and other details about your graphics card.
4. Through Your BIOS
If all else fails, you can also find out what type of graphics card you have by accessing your BIOS menu. To do this, restart your computer and press the appropriate key (usually F2 or Delete) to enter the BIOS setup. Once inside, look for a display or video option and it should tell you the model number and manufacturer of your graphics card.
5. Ask The Seller
For new computers, the best way to find out what type of graphics card you have is simply to ask the seller. They should be able to provide you with all the details you need.
