You can easily find and change your default browser in the control panel. Here are the steps you need to take in order to do so.
1. Open Control Panel
First, open the control panel by typing “control” in the Windows search box or by clicking the windows icon in the bottom left of the screen, then select “Control Panel”
2. Find Default Programs
Once the control panel is open, select the “Default Programs” option. You will see a list of programs and settings related to the default applications on your computer.
3. Select Default Web Browser
On the left side of the window, select “Set your default programs”. A new window will appear with a list of programs that you can choose as your default browser. Look for the one labeled “Web Browser” and click on it.
4. Select Your Desired Browser
A new window will appear with a list of browsers that you can choose from. Select the one you want to use as your default browser and click “OK”
5. Confirm Your Selection
The selected browser will now be set as your default browser, meaning that all web links you click on your computer will open in this browser. To confirm that this has been done correctly, re-open the “Set your default programs” window and confirm that the selected browser is listed under “Web Browser”.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully changed your default browser in the control panel. You can always go back and change this selection if needed.
