Disabling notifications in Windows 10 is an easy process and can be done in just a few steps. In this article, we will show you how to disable notifications on your computer running Windows 10.
First, open the Action Center by clicking on the Notification icon at the bottom right of your screen. This will open the Action Center.
Once the Action Center is open, you will see all of your current notifications. Click on the “All Settings” option which is located at the bottom of your Action Center.
In the Settings window, click on System then Notifications & Actions. This will open the Notifications & Actions settings.
Under Notifications & Actions, you will see an option for Show notifications from these apps. Click on it to expand the list. Here, you can choose which apps you want to allow notifications for and which ones you want to block. To block all notifications from an app, simply toggle the switch off for that app.
Once you have made your changes, close the settings window and your notifications should be blocked. You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
If you want to go a step further and completely turn off all notifications on your computer, you can do so by going back to the Settings window and selecting Focus Assist from the left hand side of the window. Here, you can set up a time schedule or activate focus assist manually. Once activated, all notifications will be blocked until you turn off Focus Assist.
That’s it! You have successfully disabled notifications on your Windows 10 computer. It’s important to note that the steps outlined above are the same for both desktop and mobile devices running Windows 10.
