6. If your system’s driver is not up-to-date, it is recommended that you update it. You can do this either by downloading the latest driver from your manufacturer’s website or by clicking ‘Update Driver’ in the Driver tab.
7. If you choose to download from your manufacturer’s website, locate the manufacturer’s page for your graphics card. Look for a tab such as ‘Downloads’ or ‘Support.’
8. Find the link for the latest version of the driver for your operating system (Windows 2000 in this example).
9. Download the driver file and save it to your computer.
10. Open the downloaded driver file and follow the instructions to install the driver.
11. Once the installation is complete, restart your system for the new driver to take effect.
12. To verify the installation of the new driver, you can open the Device Manager again and go to the Driver tab. The version of your driver should now be updated.
By following these steps, you can easily check and update your graphics drivers in Windows. This can keep your system running smoothly and prevent any issues that may arise due to outdated drivers.
