How do I check my graphics card in Windows 10?

In Windows 10, checking the type of graphics card that is installed on your system can be done through either the System Information window or the Device Manager.

Using the System Information window:

Step 1: Press the Windows key and the letter R on the keyboard at the same time to open the Run dialogue box.

Step 2: Type ‘msinfo32’ into the box and press Enter. This will open the System Information window.

Step 3: Click on the Components tab at the top.

Step 4: Under Display, double-click on the word “Adapter” which should take you to the Adapter information window.

Step 5: In this window you will be able to see the name, vendor, version and other information relating to your graphics card.

Using the Device Manager:

Step 1: Right-click on the Start button in the bottom left corner of your screen and select Device Manager.

Step 2: Expand the Display adapters section.

Step 3: Here you will be able to see the type of graphics card that is installed.

Note: If none of these methods work for you, then you may need to open your computer case and inspect the graphics card. Many graphics cards will have the model name written on them.
