Changing the wallpaper in Windows 10 is a quick and easy process.
1. Open Settings (Windows+I)
2. Click on Personalization.
3. Select Background in the left sidebar.
4. Choose Picture or Slideshow to choose your own image or a collection of images that will rotate on your lock screen.
5. Select a folder of images and click Choose picture.
6. Click on the image you’d like to use as your wallpaper and it will be applied immediately.
Alternatively, you can also right-click on the desktop and select Personalize > Background.
Once you’ve chosen your wallpaper, you can further customize it by selecting it and then clicking the Options dropdown menu. You can choose whether you want the image to fit the screen, fill the screen, stretch the image, tile, center or span the wallpaper across multiple monitors.
You can also enable or disable the background image on the sign-in screen in the Lock screen settings. You can opt to either show a solid color background or display a slideshow of wallpaper images while the computer is locked.
Finally, you can create a theme with your custom wallpaper, color, sound and mouse cursor. To do this go to Themes in the left sidebar and click My themes > Custom themes > Create. From there, you’ll be able to select an image for your wallpaper, change the accent color, choose a sound scheme, and pick a mouse cursor.
Once you have everything set up, click Save theme. It will now show up in the My themes section, so you can easily select it in the future.
That’s how you can easily change and customize your wallpaper in Windows 10.
