Backup:
Step 1: Open the Control Panel. To do this, use the Windows + X keyboard shortcut and select Control Panel from the menu that appears.
Step 2: Select the System and Security option from the list of options in the Control Panel.
Step 3: Now, select File History from the list of options in the System and Security window.
Step 4: On the File History window, click the Backup Now button to start the backup process.
Step 5: In the File History window, you can customize the settings related to backup such as frequency of backups, location to store the backup files, and more.
Step 6: Once the settings are done, click the Start Backup button to begin the process.
Step 7: The backup process will take some time depending on the size of the data to be backed up. You can view the progress of the backup in the File History window.
Step 8: Once the backup process is complete, a message will appear saying “Backup Completed Successfully”.
Restore:
Step 1: Open the Control Panel. To do this, use the Windows + X keyboard shortcut and select Control Panel from the menu that appears.
Step 2: Select the System and Security option from the list of options in the Control Panel.
Step 3: Now, select File History from the list of options in the System and Security window.
Step 4: On the File History window, click the Restore Files button to start the restore process.
Step 5: In the File History window, you can select the files or folders you want to restore and specify the location to restore them to.
Step 6: Once the settings are done, click the Restore button to begin the process.
Step 7: The restore process will take some time depending on the size of the data to be restored. You can view the progress of the restore in the File History window.
Step 8: Once the restore process is complete, a message will appear saying “Restore Completed Successfully”.
