Adjusting time and date settings in the Control Panel is a relatively simple process.
First, click on the Start menu icon on the bottom left of your screen. Navigate to “Settings” and click on it. You can also use the Windows + I keyboard shortcut to open the settings window directly.
Once you’re in the Settings window, you will see several categories of options. Navigate to “Time & Language” which is located in the second row under “System”.
On the left-hand side of the Time & Language window, select “Date & Time”. This will bring you to the Date & Time settings page. This page has two main sections: “Date & Time” and “Regional Options”.
In the “Date & Time” section, you will find all the settings you will need to adjust the current date and time. To adjust the date, click on the box with the current date and choose the appropriate date from the calendar that appears. To change the time, simply drag the hour and minute sliders until you reach the desired time.
You can also choose the format for how the date and time will be displayed by clicking the “Date & Time Format” drop-down menu. This allows you to customize the display so that it shows the date in the format you prefer. For example, you could choose to have the date display as “MM/DD/YYYY” or “DD/MM/YYYY”.
In the “Regional Options” section, you can specify the region you are in. This is important because certain times and dates are only valid in specific regions. For example, daylight savings time may only be observed in certain countries. To set the region, click the “Region” drop-down menu and select the room that appropriately matches your location.
You’ll also see a “Set Time Automatically” and “Set Time Zone Automatically” checkbox. You can enable these options if you need your time and time zone to be set automatically.
By following these simple steps, you have now successfully adjusted the time and date settings in the Control Panel.
