Adding Programs to the Windows Control Panel
Adding programs to the Windows Control Panel is a simple process. Open the Control Panel from the Start Menu. Once the Control Panel is open, select “Programs and Features” from the list of available options. This will open the Programs and Features window.
In the Programs and Features window, click the “Install a program from the network or the Internet” link at the top of the window. This will open the “Add Program” window. From here, you can choose to install a program from a CD/DVD drive or download it from the internet. If you choose to install from the internet, locate the program in the search results, select it and click “Install”.
If you have a setup file on your computer already, you can also use this method to install the program. Select “Install a program from the network or a disk” at the top of the window, then choose the location of the setup file on your computer. Click the “Install” button to start the installation process.
Once the program is installed, it will be listed in the “Installed Programs” list in the Programs and Features window. The program can also be accessed directly from the Windows Control Panel.
Deleting Programs from the Windows Control Panel
Deleting programs from the Windows Control panel is just as easy as adding them. Open the Control Panel from the Start Menu. Once the Control Panel is open, select “Programs and Features” from the list of available options. This will open the Programs and Features window.
In the Programs and Features window, you can see a list of all the programs installed on your computer. Find the program you want to delete and select it by clicking on it. Then, click the “Uninstall” button. This will start the uninstallation process.
Once the program is uninstalled, it will no longer be available in the Windows Control Panel. The program files may still exist on your computer, but they will be hidden and inaccessible.
It is important to note that uninstalling a program does not always get rid of all of the associated files. If you want to make sure that all of the program’s associated files are removed, you may need to use additional software or manually delete them yourself.
