1. Check the Device Manager
The first step in troubleshooting sound card issue in Windows is to check the Device Manager. To access the Device Manager, press the Windows key + X , then select “Device Manager” from the menu. In the Device Manager window, you should find an entry for your audio device. If it is not present, then you need to install the driver for your sound card.

2. Update Drivers
If your sound device is present in the Device Manager, then you should make sure that your drivers are up to date. To do this, open the Device Manager and right-click on your sound device.
