1) Uninstall Unnecessary Programs: Go to your Control Panel and uninstall any programs that you don’t use.

7) Defragment Your Hard Drive: Fragmentation is one of the main culprits behind slow computer performance. Use the Windows Disk Defragmenter utility to defragment your hard drive.
8) Install an SSD: Solid state drives are much faster than traditional hard drives, and they take up less space as well.
