1. Open the Start menu and type “defragment” in the search bar. Select the “Defragment and Optimize Drives” option from the list of search results.
2. Select the hard drive you want to defragment from the list of available drives in the Optimize Drives window.
3. Click the “Analyze” button to begin analyzing the selected drive. The analysis time may vary depending on the size of the drive and the speed of your computer.
4. Once the analysis is complete, click the “Optimize” button to start the defragmentation process. This will take a few minutes to complete.
5. When the defragmentation is finished, click the “Close” button to exit the window.
