2. Clean up system files with Disk Cleanup: Open the start menu and search for Disk Cleanup. Click on the Disk Cleanup program to launch it. Select the drive you want to clean up and click OK. On the following screen, you can select the types of files you want to delete.
3. Use a third-party disk cleaner: There are many third-party disk cleaners available that can help you clean up your computer’s disk caches more effectively. Examples include CCleaner and Wise Disk Cleaner.
4. Defragment your hard drive: Hard drives become fragmented over time, and this can lead to slower performance. To defragment (or “defrag”) your hard drive, open the Start menu and search for Disk Defragmenter. Select the drive you want to defragment and click Optimize.
