There are many ways to create a new folder on a computer. Depending on the operating system that you are using, the steps needed to create a new folder can vary.
Microsoft Windows
If you are using Microsoft Windows, you can follow these steps:
1) Open File Explorer by double-clicking the yellow folder icon on your desktop or by pressing the “Windows” key + E.
2) Choose the location where you want to create the folder. You can create a folder either in an existing folder or in the root of the drive.
3) Right-click an empty area in the folder and select “New” and then “Folder” from the context menu. Alternatively, you can press the “Ctrl” + “Shift” + “N” keys on your keyboard.
4) A new folder will be created with the default name “New folder”.
5) To rename the folder, right-click it and select “Rename” from the context menu or press the “F2” key on your keyboard.
6) Type the new name for the folder and press “Enter”.
Apple macOS
If you are using macOS, you can follow these steps:
