In order to disable JavaScript in your browser, you must first determine the web browser you are using. The instructions for disabling JavaScript may vary depending on the browser you are using.
Google Chrome
1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of your screen.
3. Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Advanced” tab.
5. Select “Content Settings” from the Privacy & security section.
6. Scroll down to the “JavaScript” section and select “Do not allow any site to run JavaScript.”
7. Click “Done”.
Microsoft Edge
1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner of your screen.
3. Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. Scroll down to the “View advanced settings” section.
5. Scroll down to the “JavaScript” section and uncheck the box beside “Allow websites to run scripts”.
6. Click “Done”.
Mozilla Firefox
1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click on the three horizontal bars in the upper-right corner of your screen.
3. Select “Options” from the drop-down menu.
4. Select “Content” from the left side of the window.
5. Uncheck the box beside “Enable JavaScript”.
6. Close the window.
Safari
1. Open Safari.
2. Click on the “Safari” menu in the top left corner of your screen.
3. Select “Preferences” from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the “Security” tab on the top of the window.
5. Uncheck the box beside “Enable JavaScript”.
6. Close the window.
Opera
1. Open Opera.
2. Click on the “Menu” icon in the upper-left corner of your screen.
3. Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the “Websites” option.
5. Uncheck the box beside “Enable JavaScript”.
6. Close the window.
Once you have successfully disabled JavaScript in your browser, you should no longer be able to view or access any websites or webpages that require JavaScript to load properly. If you are still experiencing difficulty viewing certain websites, it is likely due to other settings or plugins that are enabled in your browser.
