The simplest way to uninstall an application on a Mac is drag and drop. Locate the application in the Applications folder and then drag the icon to the Trash. This will uninstall the program but it will not delete associated files. To delete related files, you can either search for the file name of the program or look in the library folder of your home directory.
2. Uninstaller Tool
The second option is to use an uninstaller tool. Many Mac applications come with their own uninstaller tool, which you can find either in the folder containing the application or in the main Applications folder of your computer. To use the uninstaller tool, run the application and then follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Third-Party Uninstaller
Finally, if you can’t find an uninstaller tool or don’t want to use the drag and drop method, you can download a third-party uninstaller. There are many apps available for download that will help you uninstall applications. Look for one with good reviews and follow the instructions provided to uninstall the application.
