Changing the display language in Windows Control Panel is a relatively straightforward process. To begin, open the Control Panel from the Windows Start menu, or by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and typing “Control Panel” into the search box that appears.
Once inside the Control Panel, click on Clock, Language, and Region. Alternatively, you can also type this phrase into the “Search Control Panel” box at the top right corner of the Control Panel window.
In the new window that appears, you should see a list of settings related to the language and regional formats that Windows uses. Select “Change the display language”.
Windows will then ask for confirmation to proceed with changing the display language. Click on “Yes” or “Continue” and the Language settings window will appear.
At the top of this window, there should be a list of currently installed languages. Select the language which you would like to use as the display language in Windows Control Panel. If the language you want to use is not listed, select “Add a language” to open the Add languages window.
In the Add languages window, select the language which you would like to add and click “Add.” Windows will then download and install the language pack associated with that language. Once it’s done, the language will appear in the previously mentioned list of installed languages.
Select this language and click “OK” to confirm the change. The display language of your Windows Control Panel will now be set to the language you have selected.
You may also need to change some other related settings in order to fully switch over to the new language. This can be done by selecting “Change system locale” in the previous window and choosing the appropriate locale for the language you’ve chosen.
This process can also be used to change the display language for the entire operating system. To do this, simply select “Set as default” under the language you want to use.
That’s it! You should now be able to use Windows Control Panel in the language of your choice.
