To adjust the time and date in Windows Control Panel, follow these steps:
1. Click the Start button and select “Control Panel” from the menu.
2. When the Control Panel window appears, click “Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options.”
3. Select the “Date and Time” tab from the top of the Date and Time Properties window.
4. From here, you can turn the “Set Time Automatically” feature on or off. If it is on, click the “Change Settings” link to edit the date and time manually. If it is off, simply enter the correct date and time in the fields.
5. To set the date, click the month, day, and year fields and use the drop-down menus to select the correct date. When finished, click the “Apply” button.
6. To set the time, click the hour, minute, and second fields and use the drop-down menus to select the correct time. When finished, click the “Apply” button.
7. Once the time and date are set, click the “OK” button to save the changes.
The time and date should now be updated in Windows Control Panel. To check the changes, open the Date and Time Properties window again and make sure that the settings are correct. If everything looks good, you’re all set.
