1. Identify programs or applications you want to uninstall. You may want to review the list of installed apps in the Windows Control Panel and review the applications listed on your machine.
2. Decide which programs to keep. If the program is still being used and it’s an important one, then don’t uninstall it.
3. Select the programs you want to uninstall.
4. Back up your data and settings. Before uninstalling a program, you should back up any documents created with the program and any settings related to the program.
5. Uninstall the selected programs. Find the uninstaller for each program in the Windows Control Panel, select it and follow the uninstallation wizard’s instructions.
6. Reboot your computer. Reboot your system once all the programs have been uninstalled, to ensure the uninstallation process was successful.
