How do I adjust power settings in Windows 10?

1. Go to the Start Menu and select Settings.
2. In the settings window, click on System.
3. Select Power & Sleep from the left sidebar.
4. Here you can adjust the timeouts for when your computer goes to sleep and when the display turns off.
5. You can also select to “require a password on wakeup” which is useful for added security.
6. To access more advanced power settings, click on Additional Power Settings from the bottom of the page.
7. In the Additional Power Options, you will find several profiles – Balanced, High Performance, Power Saver and more.
8. Select the profile you want and make any changes you need.
9. Once you’re done, click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
