1. Select the Start Menu.
2. Type “update” and select Windows Update Settings.
3. Select Change Active Hours under Update Settings.
4. Set your preferred active hours in the pop-up window. Active hours are when you don’t want any automatic updates to occur.
5. Select Turn On Automatically.
6. Select Check for Updates to begin the update process.
7. After the check is complete, Windows will download any available updates and install them automatically.
