There are several ways to free up storage space on your PC, depending on what type of storage medium you’re using.
For a hard drive, you can start by deleting temporary files, such as those stored in the AppData and Temporary Internet Files folders, or run a disk cleanup tool to remove unnecessary files. You can also uninstall programs you don’t use, move programs to an external hard drive, or compress large files to reduce their size and save space.
If you’re using solid-state storage, such as an SSD, you have fewer options for freeing up space. Instead, you should look into getting a larger capacity drive, if possible.
