1. Open Task Manager. To do this, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard and select Task Manager.
2. View the applications running on your PC. Click the Processes tab of the Task Manager window to view all the applications currently running on your PC.
3. Determine which programs are resource hogs. Look at the CPU and Memory columns to identify any programs that are using a lot of your system resources.
4. End those programs. Highlight the programs you have identified and click “End Task” to close them.
5. Consider uninstalling programs you don’t use. If there are any programs you never use, consider uninstalling them. This will free up system resources and can help make your PC run faster.
6. Update your PC for better performance. Make sure you are running the latest version of your operating system and software to ensure your computer is running at peak performance.
