1. Open the Task Manager. Press Windows key + R, type in “taskmgr” and press Enter.
2. Under the Startup tab, you will be able to see all of the applications that are configured to run when your computer boots.
3. Right-click any application you do not need to start up automatically and select Disable from the drop-down menu. This will stop the application from launching when you turn on your computer.
4. To confirm that the application has been disabled, check the Status column. The status should change from “Enabled” to “Disabled.”
5. Once you have disabled all of the applications you don’t need, click OK.
