Blockchain sleuth ZachXBT shared the incident on his Telegram channel, warning Trezor customers about the attack. According to a social media post, the phishing email asks users to download a firmware update for their Trezor devices to fix a software issue. The fraudulent email was sent from the address amministrazione@sideagroup.com. Trezor brand ambassador Josef Tetek confirmed the ongoing phishing campaign and assured users that the company is actively addressing the issue. He urged users to be cautious and never share their recovery seed, PIN, or passphrase with anyone. These incidents highlight the importance of safeguarding cryptocurrency assets and being vigilant against phishing attacks.
